Freddy is a proud Boys & Girls Club alum and was named President & CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast in July 2016. As President & CEO, he is responsible for the overall strategy, vision, fundraising, and operations of the organization. Additionally, he serves as a National Board Member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Professional Association.
Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast, Freddy served in executive leadership roles for Boys & Girls Club organizations in Lake and Alachua County. Before dedicating his career to Boys & Girls Clubs, he worked as a political strategist and served as a program consultant for United Way to develop high school graduation and family engagement strategies in partnership with Harvard University’s Family Research Project. Freddy is a graduate of Harvard University’s Performance Measurement and Management Program. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida International University. He received post graduate certificates in Non-Profit Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University and Fundraising Management from Indiana University. Freddy’s leadership goes beyond the Clubs by serving as a Member of Forbes’ National Nonprofit Council and on the Boards of Directors for the Pinellas Community Foundation, St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, and Leadership Tampa Bay. He is also an executive coach and mentor for new CEO’s for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. |
