In serving as the CFO for Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), Tom has a broad base of responsibilities that extend over Financial Accounting & Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Treasury. In addition, Tom serves as ARC’s Chief Risk & Compliance Officer with the Legal, Enterprise Risk and the Internal Audit functions all under his direction.
Tom’s experience has been developed through a diverse set of roles in public accounting, banking, and consulting which have led him to the role he now serves at ARC. The scope of these roles provided for skills and expertise in accounting, internal and external audit services, IT Audit, Commercial and Asset Based Lending, Bank and Credit Card operations, payment processing, Risk Management and Compliance Consulting. Accordingly, he is a member of the AICPA, CTSCPA and the IIA. Most recently his activities have been directed towards several Corporate Development transactions with ARC’s foray into the investment in and acquisition of organizations with services that run adjacent to ARC’s. Most important to his role, is the strategic guidance and impact he brings to ARC’s and the changing world of financial settlement and airline services distribution. ARC continues to explore the new methods, mechanisms and technologies that more efficiently support the transfer of value between stakeholders in the travel industry. ARC’s most recent proof of concept endeavors have led to investment in three organization including a Blockchain organization developing new processes facilitating the corporate travel experience. Tom’s career has included meaningful periods of tenure with Ernst & Young, Shawmut Bank, Capital One, Circuit City, CBIZ and ARC. Tom also has history as a certified USPTA tennis professional in CT and has achieved regional rankings in New England and Virginia in past years. Tom holds a bachelor’s degree from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. |
